The concept of Afterlife is built on a single question: what comes after an ending? Every garment is made through upcycling, treating discarded materials not as waste but as living matter carrying memory into new form.
The audience dressed entirely in black creates a funeral feeling. The living watching the returned. The show opens with a live saxophone quartet, their sound marking the crossing from one state into another before a single look appears.
The venue, the Academy of Fine Arts, carries the weight of creation and study, a fitting space for work that questions the boundary between making and unmaking. The collections are young, slightly raw, and intentional in their incompleteness.
