The “Experiment 01” project rebelled against traditional materials, featuring biodegradable leather made from bioplastics and coffee grounds - an eco-friendly alternative to synthetic plastics.
The costume project involved extensive material research, with the optimal method combining glycerol, gelatin, water, and coffee for a leather-like texture. Hand-stitched elements and intentional pin use created a punk aesthetic.
The modeling process took place in several phases. The initial phase is reflected in the work on working models. After selecting the final working model, I continued working on the patterns in the material that was used and on the final model itself, biodegradable leather. In the early phases, the model was conceived so that the forms would be geometrical, but during the process of working on the final model, I decided to introduce forms that would be organic, and the reason for that was precisely the material used for the final model.
